Hi everyone, we are going to Caprera on August 26 (for 11 reasons)!
Starting from the north, the natural harbor of Bonifacio, with its houses and “caruggi” of Genoese origin, where a very old Ligurian dialect can still be heard. In Corsica we recommend:
- Lazarina Cove on Lavezzi Island, a spectacular wind-protected cove characterized by multiform rocks and the memorial pyramid “La Sémillante”
- Zeri Cove, in Cavallo, surrounded by lush Mediterranean scrubland
- Moving down southeast, on Italian soil, are the islands of Razzoli(Cala Lunga is spectacular, surrounded by granite boulders and trees), Budelli (the pink beach is stunning, but can be seen from afar. And who knows, you might catch a glimpse of Mauro Morandi, the hermit “guardian” of Budelli!), Barrettini.
- Further south, in Spargi, one of Sardinia’s most beautiful anchorages, Cala Corsara, with its turquoise waters and pink granite boulders, awaits you.

And then La Maddalena and Caprera(where there is the TAG Heuer VELA Cup on Monday, August 26: HERE all the info to participate), where nature has remained wild:
- we recommend Cala Coticcio, one of the most beautiful bays where you can dive into the crystal clear waters
- Porto Palma, where we expect you for the VELA Cup. The sailing regatta open to all to make your vacation unique among Blue waters, yellow rock, Mediterranean scrub. Also on Caprera, dreamy swimming you will do at Cala Conchiglia, Cala degli Inglesi, the Beach the two Seas.
- Also not to be missed are Cala Andreani and the Spiaggia del Relitto, famous not only for its fine white sand but also for the presence on the shore of a skeleton of an ancient coal-carrying ship made aground after a fire broke out on board.
