2019 is a big year for the Solaris brand, a year of big news. A year that began with the Dusseldorf Boat Show, where the Aquileia shipyard presented the new 64 RS only a few months after launching the new 44‘.

The 64RS also made its in-water debut at the Solaris Cup in June 2019 (READ HERE) in the setting of Porto Rotondo, and with its innovations created a lot of buzz. The Solaris 64 RS was born from the pencil of Soto Acebal and is an extremely innovative yacht in the world of fast cruising ocean-going yachts, characterized by the raised salon that brings windows and 360-degree views and allows for an engine and engine room amidships with the aft cabins free of noise-creating systems. The innovation begins in the interior layout that encloses a sail locker in the bow that can be used as a sailor cabin with a separate bathroom.

The staggered entrance also allows for a decidedly large cockpit with a fixed table on the left and passage to the right before the cockpit bench. Aft is the rigging area characterized by the central mainsail sheet winch and two side winches. The hull is of the most modern design, with a wide stern that accommodates the two rudders and a slightly upturned bow. T-shaped keel with two drafts or a lifting keel without internal intrusion.

And there is certainly no shortage of more news coming to the Solaris world. Many other new features will be encompassed in the two Solaris 80 RSs currently under construction in the Aquileia shipyard that will take to the water with the start of the new year 2020. Also in 2020, 2 more new flush deck models will be unveiled and take to the water.
