Shoot and win: Instagram contest #crocieragdv2016 is back !

Back from August 1-31, 2016, the most beloved photo contest of the summer: it’s the “GDV Cruise 2016” that will feature you on Instagram under the motto “Tell me where you are, tell me what you do.”

How does it work? Simple as that. The contest is open to everyone (all you need is a free Instagram account) and runs from August 1-31, 2016. To participate, all you need to do is upload photos (yes, you can participate with as many images as you want) to Instagram using thehashtag #crocieragdv2016 and tagging @giornaledellavela in your photos.

We repeat, there is no limit to the number of images each participant can post on Instagram to participate. We also give you a tip: in addition to the hashtag #crocieragdv2016 add as many hashtags as possible. This will give maximum visibility to your photos and a chance for other users to click the mythical “Like” button. Why is it important? Because in choosing the winners we will also take into account the number of Likes the photo has received.

WHAT, HOW AND WHEN TO PHOTOGRAPH
The only limit is your imagination. With your photographs, we ask you to tell us about all those emotions that are experienced during a cruise, but also the places you visit, the funny or tiring moments, as well as the everyday (beautiful, let’s face it), of a sailing vacation.

We told you that the “GDV Cruise 2016” contest runs from August 1 to 31, 2016, but if you are one of the lucky ones who roamed the seaside in June or July, don’t tear your hair out! All you need to do to be among the challengers is to post the photo in the month of August.

AN EVEN MORE SOCIAL CONTEST
Once again this year, photographs will have a prominent place on your computers thanks to the GdV Facebook page, where you will find a specially dedicated section with real-time updates. On our website www.giornaledellavela.com, great space for your images throughout the contest, with more weekly updates where we will post the most curious photos you have posted, also relaunching everything on our Twitter profile. Each day we will also choose one of your photos that we will relaunch via our Instagram profile!

THE CONTEST PRIZES
The first runner-up in this year’s contest will win a Helly Hansen signature oilskin. Those who reach the second step of the podium will get the Tacking Master tactical wristwatch, while for the third place finisher here is the fun board game of 151 Miglia, the most beautiful offshore race in the Tyrrhenian Sea.
