After the 18- and 27-footers, Seascape decided to “fill the gap” and announced a new 24-footer to be launched in 2016. It will have the same “racer” features as its younger brother, but in this case there will be four bunks below deck (one double in the bow and two side ones in the square) making it also interesting for cruising with family or friends.
TO GLIDE WITH A BREEZE
It will be wheelable with fully liftable drift (you will be able to get to the beach, just as with other Seascapes), and the hull is designed to be planing, so speed will not be related to length, unlike a traditional displacement boat: the site focused on one point in particular, which is the ability to glide even in light wind conditions, so as to make navigation fun and affordable for everyone, especially families.
AN EASY BOAT.
And in this direction also goes the choice of solutions marked by easy sailing. The self-tacking square top mainsail, easily maneuverable gennaker, simplified deck layout with all maneuvers within the helmsman’s reach, hull stability, and double rudder blade. The shaft is made of carbon fiber. What do you think? www.thinkseascape.com
