Sardinia is perhaps the most popular island for Mediterranean vacations, a true paradise available to anyone who wants to explore it. For this reason, every year so many tourists from all over the World come to the beautiful Island, and they almost always fall in love with it, returning to spend their vacations there during future years in short, tourists in Sardinia are always plenty, despite the fact that getting there is not so easy. Why not choose to visit by boat and avoid the sold-out crowded Sardinian beaches?

The must-see stops

To list the beauties of Sardinia would take an entire guidebook, but in a few lines we can try to summarize some of the most beautiful beaches and coves on the island, to give you some travel ideas. We will focus on northern Sardinia, the area usually favored for boat itineraries that continue to Corsica. Cala Coticcio, located northeast of the island of Caprera, is the first beach we feel like recommending. This beautiful cove, called the Sardinian Thaiti, is not only one of the most beautiful in the archipelago, but also one of the most difficult to reach by land, given the very challenging and almost mountainous trekking route that leads there to the sea, and it is also one that fills up most easily being very small. In Budelli, also in the Maddalena Archipelago, is another beautiful beach, famous for the color of its sand: the Pink Beach. A true work of art, the beach sand is composed of fragments and remnants of coral, granite and shells and is one of the most photographed in the World. Budelli Island can only be reached by sea, so you will have privileged access to the beach and the whole island, which is definitely worth a visit and a walk. The last suggestion we feel like giving you if you want to have a wonderful bath is Cala Corsara, one of the favorite coves of the boats of those who pass through this area. Four small beaches of fine sand framed by small dunes of junipers, broom, roses, and sea lilies that form a unique panorama even in Sardinia.
