The Venice Sailing Company, a historic sailing club, offers everyone, not just its members, the opportunity to start sailing or improve their sailing skills with a series of courses to be held in the lagoon. From the base onSt. George’s Island, just opposite St. Mark’s Square, the fleet of Elan 210 Duvetica boats used for the offshore sailing school will set sail. This is an ideal cabin cruiser for learning, modern, fast, comfortable, small enough to learn maneuvers with ease, but at the same time large enough to carry over to larger yachts what has been learned.
Offshore sailing courses are open to all: ideal for those who want to become racers as well as for a family planning a summer sailing cruise. The Compagnia della Vela offers several opportunities under agreement for overnight stays in Venice, an ideal solution to combine a cultural visit with the pleasure of sailing, or to ensure an unforgettable stay even for companions not interested in the sailing school. The instructors are all licensed to teach by the Italian Sailing Federation.
