We are almost there, in two days the America’s Cup will go into full swing with the Prada Cup (Jan. 15-Feb. 22). Now the game will really be played out: we will understand the real strength of Luna Rossa, American Magic and – we hope for them-if Ineos’ Brits have managed to close the performance gap with the challengers.
In the meantime, we at the Sailing Newspaper are preparing. In fact, it will also return with regattas The Cup Journal which for this first phase of the Prada Cup will go live every day after racing at 1 p.m. on our channel Youtube and on Facebook (with all episodes also visible In the events area of Milan Yachting Week), with the first episode on Jan. 14.
A very rich schedule (and what guests!).
In the preview episode on the 14th, editor-in-chief of the Giornale della Vela Eugenio Ruocco and designer Matteo Polli will be guests; in the preview episode on January 15, Luca Bassani, founder of Wally, and journalist David Ingiosi… And this is just “the appetizer”: throughout the episodes, to name a few, we will have guests such as Gabriele Bruni, Fabio Pozzo, Martina Orsini, Maelle Frascari, Vittorio Bissaro, Claudia Rossi, Francesco Ettorre… Along with of course our “hosts” Bacci Del Buono and Mauro Giuffrè, and there will be no shortage of contributions from New Zealand. As always, we will answer questions from the audience and all curiosities.
