In the heart of every Triestine beats a passion. The one for sailing. And Elisa Toffoli, aka Elisa (born in the Julian capital in 1977, but originally from Monfalcone), is no exception. In fact, the famous singer-songwriter, who has been on the crest of a wave for years now (success in the record industry came at the age of 19 with her debut album Pipes & Flowers) is an avid derivative artist, has been “coming out” in some recent interviews.
ELISA TO THE STRAPS WITH 20 KNOTS? YES
In one, given to the music magazine Rolling Stone, she was asked by the reporter if she surfs, given her collection of old surfing postcards, Elisa revealed her love for the Laser, trying to describe drifting to the layman: “…and I go on the Laser, one of those very thin sailboats, where you stand with half your body out of the boat.”. In another interview, this time with TME, she mentioned sailing (“on my old Laser!”) as the sport she would like to play on a regular basis. Can you imagine the author of songs such as “Light” or “Yet Feel (A Sense of You)” on the straps as she sails downwind in 20 knots in front of Monfalcone? We do.
In any case, how can you blame her? Take a look at this video: you can’t help but share his passion–laseristics!
