komorebi2木漏れ日, which reads“Komorebi,” is a Japanese concept representing the moment when nature is graced by the sun’s rays. And Komorebi is the new maxi trimaran signed by VPLP studio, part sailboat, part motorboat. Characterized by unabashed luxury. Its twin rigid-wing sails (fully automated) will give the 282-foot (nearly 86-meter!) bolide a speed of 15 knots with 20 knots of air. The yacht will also be able to sail in “hybrid” mode, saving up to 30 percent fuel.

The layout, “ultra-open,” we leave to the renderings to describe: let us know what you think.
