USED BOATS, THREE AUTHOR BARGAINS
A MYTH SIGNED BY PETERSON
The first of the used boats we offer costs you only 10,000 euros. It is anImpala 36, put up for sale by the owner “due to physical problems but with pain.” It is 10.80 m long and 3.25 m wide. Niccolò Puccinelli, then owner of the Castiglione della Pescaia shipyard, was awarded the design of Ganbare, a revolutionary boat by California designer Doug Peterson, and, with skilful modifications, built the Impala 36 in series starting in 1975.
Very fast in all conditions and suitable for Mediterranean cruises, it met with good success in Italy. The interior provided six to eight bunks, arranged in a forward cabin, two in the convertible settees and two makeshift ones along the bulwarks, as well as two aft. Toilet was in separate room, kitchen and charting on either side of the descent. The boat in question can be seen in Fiumicino (Rome).

FROM THE DESIGNER OF THE PEN DUICK
We continue with another “author’s boat.” For 13,000 euros, you can take home this rare Delph 32 (9.61 m long and 3.20 wide), a design by Andé Mauric, legendary designer from Marseilles (1909-2003) of famous Half Tonners (such as the Impensable) and production boats such as the First 30. His most famous projects also include the Pen Duick VI for Éric Tabarly. This Delph is from 1974, Yanmar-powered and sleeps six (one cabin plus four bunks), as well as everything you need for long and safe sailing. It can be seen in Liguria, in Marina degli Aregai.

A GREAT LITTLE CLASSIC
At 14,000 euros you are taking home a great little classic: it is a Show 29 Barberis shipyards. She is one of the masterpieces of Alain Jezequel, the French designer also “daddy” of the first Grand Soleils. At 8.90 m (by 2.98 beam, with a draft of 1.60), in those days, the living spaces above and below deck were at the top of the class. The Show 29 then in light winds was a very fast boat, thanks to the small wetted area. On deck appreciable was the large cockpit that took advantage of the rather set back aft beam. The interiors were offered in two versions that differed in the arrangement of the galley, either amidships or at the foot of the entrance depending on whether the deckhouse was long or short. A forward cabin with a double berth, a bathroom, a comfortable dinette and aft berths, at the sides of the cockpit. This model can be seen on Lake Garda.
