YYachts, Michael Schmidt’s German shipyard that churns out “custom” carbon superboats, and Italy’s Wind Yachts are pleased to announce their collaboration.
Marica Lippa and Daniele Botticini (pictured at side) founders and owners of Wind Yachts srl are well-known professionals in the world of boating and high-end sailing. They will represent Michael Schmidt’s German shipyard in Italy, which now boasts a fast-growing reputation. From the Cala Galera office, Marica handles all general services with a focus on international clients while Daniele handles design and construction on behalf of clients.
YYachts, founded 4 years ago by Michael Schmidt and located in Greifswald on the Baltic Sea coast, specializes in building sailboats from 70′ to 100′. Since the Palma Boatshow 2019, at which the Y7 was unveiled, the shipyard has sold six boats, the last of which, currently under construction, will be berthed in Sardinia. With the Spanish office in Palma de Mallorca, partnerships with France, Greece and Slovenia and this new Italian participation of Wind Yachts srl, the YYachts shipyard is able to further extend its network in the Mediterranean.
