North Sails has launched the 3Di Race, which allows even 20- to 40-foot boats to use 3Di technology, while not being pure racers, with affordable costs. The construction technique is like that of 3Di, the internal fiber composition changes. The 3Di Race retains the characteristics of high stability (like an airplane wing) but is easier to adjust, softer, easier to handle. Ideal for boats up to 40 feet that want to increase performance.
