A new era for Nautor’s Swan is about to begin, one in which the Finnish shipyard’s maxi range with Italian management will be renewed. The first piece of this change is called Swan 98 and will soon be presented to the public. Born from the pencil of Germán Frers with interiors designed by Misa Poggi (a Genovese architect, since 2002 his MPA studio has been developing the designs for Loro Piana stores worldwide) the maxi yacht is designed to meet the needs of Swan owners in terms of performance, cruising and style of experiencing the sea.
Today Nautor’s has three divisions in its range for new boats. The Club Swans ranging from the small 36 to the 124 (not yet launched) via the 50; the Swan Yachts (48,54,58,65 and 78) and the Maxis which will be the new 98 and the future 120.
Swan 98 is under construction at the BTC (Boat Technology Centre) in Pietarsaari, the renovated home of Swan, which is going full steam ahead in the production department. With 3 units already sold, the first Swan 98 will hit the water next summer and make its debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2020. A boat that will also have a strong family feeling with the smaller Swan range, to create a strong identification with the brand and a distinct style trait.
