A 51-footer like this had never been seen before. In addition to plenty of space – on deck, below deck and on the flybridge – the designers came up with solutions to make the

more sustainable and green. Fountaine Pajot is working to launch full electric-powered catamarans, and in the meantime is trying to make its boats less and less dependent on fuel. On the Aura 51, designers Berret and Racoupeau found a solution to install solar panels without compromising design and livability of the space. They did this on the flybridge, which in addition to the large sunbathing area houses a series of solar panels that can produce up to 2,000 watts of energy.
Aura 51 – What it looks like and where you can see it
Aura 51 – Exterior
On the forward deck of theAura 51 we find the net, which is a must on Fountaine Pajot catamarans, and a very spacious additional lounge area created inside a sort of forward cockpit. Here, in addition to the sunbathing seats, we find a comfortable coffee table, which allows for two separate relax-aperitif areas: one in the stern and one in the bow. The flybdrige is really very spacious and allows you to relax as if you were on a terrace overlooking the sea.
Aura 51 – Interior
There are 4 layouts available for theAura 51, and in all of them every cabin has a private bathroom, even in the 6-cabin configuration. The living room is very bright even in low natural light conditions, thanks to the large window. The kitchen is located halfway between indoors and outdoors, so as to facilitate dual use and dining or dining both outdoors and sheltered. The cabins are all very comfortable, the master cabin being the highlight, especially in the Full Maestro version it is a true suite and takes up the entire port hull.
