THE METHOD OF SELECTION
Classifications, articles and reports from you readers in hand, in the editorial office we took stock of the past season by identifying 100 “nominations” among racers, drifters, owners, sailors (the ocean sailors or those who showed off their “long sailing” skills), designers and builders
. In some cases we also felt compelled to nominate boats with a special story (after all, every enthusiast knows that the boat has a soul and that without the boat the sailor can accomplish very little). After the first phase, from January 31 to February 15, only 50 remained in the competition. Find out who they are and then vote in the poll, which will be active until noon on March 15. The 25 most voted candidates will pass the second round. Below you will find, described by an infographic, how the Sailor of the Year works and the voting steps. For voting, which can only be given to one candidate, you will be asked to enter your e-mail.
HOW THE SAILOR OF THE YEAR WORKS

Each of the winners will be awarded a TAG Heuer Aquaracer Calibre 5 high-precision waterproof chronograph (pictured opposite), capable of withstanding depths of up to 300 meters.
