Italian sailor missing in Colombia: has anyone seen him?

We respond to Elisabetta Acocella’s message on social media:

Rocco’s trimaran

Warning. The boy in the photo, Rocco Acocella Rocco Roverandom departed aboard this vessel on June 17 from Saint Martin (Caribbean) bound for the port of Barranquilla (Colombia). He has not been heard from since. As of Saturday, June 29, he was reported missing.

We alerted all the relevant authorities. If anyone had spotted the boat or had any news, please contact me on facebook or at numeror 3494168047 for communications in Italian and at 3332510900 for communications in English. Please share this post as a matter of urgency. Thank you. Elisabetta Acocella.”

Rocco attended the Caprera Sailing Center and the famous sailing school has also mobilized: “We ask you to give as much visibility as possible to this appeal-any information at this stage can be invaluable,” reads the CVC’s Facebook page.
