Farewell 4, Alberto Franchella’s Solaris 44, which competed in the Trieste-Ravenna and Trieste-Ancona stages and will continue in the stages southward

ITA 4000, the time trial of records, has started and the balance of the ranking will be drawn in October at the end of the event. In the meantime, however, we are getting the first news from the participants, and what we report below are the impressions of Alberto Franchella, owner of Farewell IV, who told us about the reception he received in the various clubs he stopped at during his participation in ITA 4000.

In Trieste guests of YC Adriaco President, 2 nights on the quai d’honneur, Piero Fornasaro de Manzini. In Marina di Ravenna guests of CVR President Gianni Paulucci, 2 nights and 2 excellent dinners at the Circolo Restaurant. In Marina Dorica everything was very good : thanks to the very kind Leonardo Zuccaro. The Marina gave a 30 percent discount. In Pescara guests at the Marina di Pescara, a large and well-equipped marina, thanks to Circolo La Scuffia to Sabrina and Giancarlo Casuscelli. Kindness, elegance and effectiveness are the 3 key words of the reception given to ITA-4000 by the Bari Sailing Club. Valeria di Cagno organized the mooring at the Mar di Levante Marina. Vice President Engineer Vincenzo Sassanelli decided on all procedures, opening access to the beautiful and historic venue under the Margherita Theater in the heart of the city. Farewell IV received the Circle’s guidon. Exquisite the president, Mrs. Simonetta Lorusso. Dinner at Circolo is a unique experience, not only for the scenery but also for the quality of the Apulian recipes with the freshest fish“.
