ITA 4000, the time trial of records, has started and the balance of the ranking will be drawn in October at the end of the event. Precisely because of the nature of its format (find out how it works below), the strategy to be held according to the weather becomes essential. Indeed, one will be able to choose the record attempt from nine total routes, plus three alternate routes, all just over 100 miles long and with mixed offshore/coastal sailing, and there are already boats trying. The rankings will be compiled with ORC compensated times.
Identifying the correct weather window becomes essential to hope for success. That is why the Meteomed service will come to the rescue. It is the marine weather provider to help you define the best time window to leave your moorings. You can browse the platform for free for 15 days by using the ITA4000 coupon. Also included is the consulting service with the meteorologist with whom you can consult to determine the optimal route. In addition, all automatic bulletin and alert services will be available to you to navigate safely. www.meteomed.it
