Romano Battisti
: one of Italy’s strongest rowers (he won an Olympic medal, two world championships and eight Europeans), serving Team Prada. Here is what he told us in the lengthy interview in the events pavilion at Milan Yachting Week – the Digital Boat Show.

WHO IS ROMANO BAPTISTS

Romano’s rowing career began in the youth sector of the Forestale, moving on to CC Aniene where he is still with the Yellow Flames sports group. Romano won the silver medal in the 2 pair at the 2012 London Olympics.

Since 2001 he has participated in two Olympics, 11 world championships, of which he has won 2, and 8 Europeans. He has also been Italian champion 16 times.

In recent years, he decided to enter the world of sailing and in particular to specialize in the role of grinder, his new passion.
