How it works and why it is so brilliant

This product is one of Harken ‘s spearheads, and its operation is truly ingenious. It is a telescoping winch that disappears into the boat deck when not in use, and is available for boats of all sizes, from medium-small to megayachts.
CLR Mooring Winch
is in fact available in different formats, each with a different maximum hold, depending on the size of the boat. The footprint on deck is minimal; all the motorization is inside the system, which, when closed, remains flush with the deck, and can also be “camouflaged” by covering the teak top. The electric CLR Mooring Winch is designed to facilitate maneuvering by automatically steering the lines when mooring. In addition to keeping the deck clear, this product takes up 40% less horizontal space and 50% less vertical space, and its weight is reduced by 33% compared to most competitors. And then there is a treat that makes it easier to use the winch in low visibility conditions: LED lights are placed at the base of the product!
