Here you will come face to face with Italy’s most famous sailor

Giovanni Soldini, the Sailor, the Man. This is the title of the meeting that will be live on Monday, November 30 at 6 p.m., which we have designed for you in collaboration with the Italian Naval League Section of Milan (of which Giovanni is a historical member).

WHY IT WILL BE A MUST-ATTEND EVENT

This is a must-attend event because everything you ever wanted to know about Giovanni Soldini, but never dared to ask, you can directly ask Italy’s most famous sailor here( refresh your memory about Soldini’s history). Just comment under the live Facebook or Youtube broadcast!

They will talk about round-the-world and Vendée Globe (remember that Soldini, to date, is the only Italian to have won one solo), America’s Cup, the “behind-the-scenes” of preparing for solo sailing, and Giovanni’s personal story. What does he do when he is not in the boat? What are the lessons you teach your children? What do you think about the future of sailing and the environment and much, much more in a 360-degree chat that promises to be really interesting!

Our own Eugenio Ruocco, editor-in-chief of the Giornale della Vela, and Paolo Martano, Councilor with responsibility for CVC and Instructor Training of the LNI of Milan, will moderate the meeting.
