HanseYachts’ new flagship, the Hanse 675 (of which we had shown you beautiful photos in the hull construction stage), has been completed and is ready to sail from the port of Greifswald. It is not only the largest model ever built by the German shipyard, but also the longest production sailboat built so far in Germany.
EXTERIOR
Like all Hanse yachts, the Hanse 675 was developed by Judel/Vrolijk & co and is characterized by crisp shapes and clean surfaces. The bow is entirely lined with teak wood, and the curvy lines of the deckhouse provide all the space sun worshippers desire. The cockpit is equipped with three 21-inch screens that can be used both for chart viewing and for entertainment and relaxation. Large windows in the hull, panoramic roof, and electrically opening panel on the deck contribute to the aesthetics of the boat, letting sunlight flow in to illuminate the interior. The optional hardtop, with a sound system and spotlights, offers protection from the sun and can be opened while cruising.
INTERIOR
The curved lines and sinuous combinations of fabrics and materials-such as the handcrafted leather that covers the wood panels-create an atmosphere that differs greatly from a traditional production yacht. In the master stateroom, the wave-inspired design, with its light, sinuous lines, enhances the impression of spaciousness and amplitude. The spacious living room also counts on the chart table, equipped with a large screen, which can be used to create a comfortable office by the sea.
There is also a bar corner, built into the side wall, and a bottle cooler. In the small bar area, you can raise or lower the table to the desired position at the push of a button, while next door, sitting in a “designer” chair, you can use the central monitor to change the climate control in different zones according to your wishes. In the pantry area, the designers created interior shelving integrated into the cabinets. In bathrooms that rely on real stone surfaces, round shower enclosures provide more space and comfort.
PRIVACY
The privacy of the owner and his guests is ensured: the crew has a separate entrance to the port side of the cockpit that leads to both the galley area and the crew cabin, which can accommodate up to 3 people, with the adjacent room for service use. The kitchen and service area is separate from the living room, so guests can relax without being disturbed. www.hanseyachts.com
