Schenker’s latest innovation is the brand new compact desalinator Zen 100: capable of producing 100 liters of fresh water per hour, weighs only 54 kilograms and is suitable for boats over 60 feet and completes the range of desalinators (last year in Genoa the Zen 30 was presented and at the Paris Salon the 50). THE SECRETS OF THE ZEN RANGE
The marine market has welcomed with great commercial enthusiasm the new Zen range, a revolutionary watermaker unveiled a few months ago. Zen, is identified by essentiality, simplicity, lightness, minimalism, and flexibility of installation. It also represents a breakthrough in the field of desalinators because of the design study refined in the design phase. Pleasing look for a machine that is usually intended to be inconspicuous on board, hidden in technical rooms or engine rooms. The dimensions are very small and extra slim (depth of only about 10 cm.).

The low-slung shape facilitates mounting with few positioning constraints, such as horizontally on the bottom of a locker or vertically on a wall in the utility room, almost like a picture. Lightweight, very quiet, and thus suitable for installation aboard smaller vessels.

The machines, thanks to a new generation energy recovery system, are extremely simple and efficient. The basic model that produces 30 liters/hour of fresh water requires only 110 watts of consumption while the superior model, Zen50, is capable of producing 50 liters of fresh water with a consumption of only 240 watts and has a significantly lower purchase cost than other systems of the same capacity on the market today. The public price of the machine, including remote control and accessories, is only 4,985.00 Euro + VAT. It covers the needs of boats with size around 45-50 feet with crews usually consisting of 5-6 members. The machine is also equipped with an “economy” function that cuts consumption in half by limiting it to fresh water production in favor of a truly “minimalist” impact on on-board energy.

Finally, the brand new 100-liter/h Zen will be launched at the Genoa Boat Show to cover the needs of medium to large boats.
