You read that correctly: owning a boat without buying it. This is, in a nutshell, the proposal of Medboat Sharing. That is, a service that allows a sailboat to be shared between 7 “members” and an owner and that through an online calendar allows its use to be optimized, allowing all participants to go out sailing 42 days a year (84 for the owner).
One forgets about maintenance costs, the cost of a berth, insurance: the MedBoat Sharing organization takes care of everything, ensuring that the boat is available at the dock, ready to go out.
