The 2015 edition of the Italian Olympic Classes Championship closed yesterday in Naples., an event organized by a committee coordinated by the FIV V Zone and formed by the city’s three oldest sailing clubs (Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia, Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia and Club Nautico della Vela) based in Santa Lucia. More than 200 colorful sails engaged in the chase for Italian titles in the ten Olympic classes (Laser Standard, Laser Radial, 470 men, 470 women, 49er, 49er FX, Nacra 17, Finn, RS:X men’s and RS:X women’s sailboard), the 2.4 mR Paralympic class and the RS:X Youth sailboard.

Titles that went to Stefano Cherin and Andrea Tesei (YC Porto San Rocco-YC Adriaco) for the 49er class, a Giulia Conti and Francesca Clapcich (CC Aniene-Aeronautica Militare) for the 49er FX, a Vittorio Bissaro and Silvia Sicouri (Fiamme Azzurre) for the Nacra 17, a Mattia Camboni (Fiamme Azzurre) for the men’s RS:X sailboard, to Laura Linares (Navy) for the RS:X women’s board, to Matteo Evangelisti (LNI Civitavecchia) and. Giorgia Speciale (SEF Stamura) for the RS:X Youth board, a Michele Paoletti (SV Barcola Grignano) for the Finn, Giacomo Ferrari and Giulio Calabrò (LNI Ostia) for the 470 men, Benedetta Di Salle and Alessandra Dubbini (YC Italiano-CV Toscolano Maderno) for the 470 women, Marco Gallo (Yellow Flames) for the Laser Standard, Joyce Floridia (Yellow Flames) for the Laser Radial and. Antonio Squizzato (SC Garda Salò) for the Paralympic class of 2.4 mR.

MONEY AT CC ANIENE
Success and related prize money for Circolo Canottieri Aniene, which took first place in the special team classification reserved for sailing clubs, one of the novelties of the 2015 Italian Olympic Classes Championship in Naples, ahead of the Sailing Section of the Guardia di Finanza (Yellow Flames) and the Italian Yacht Club of Genoa. They were followed by LNI of Ostia, Compagnia della Vela Venezia, Garda Salò Rowing Society, Gruppo Sportivo Aeronautica Militare, Gruppo Sportivo Fiamme Azzurre, Fraglia Vela Malcesine and Centro Sportivo Marina Militare.
