Max Sirena, live from Auckland, reveals. in the events area of Milan Yachting Week – The Digital Boat Show all the secrets of Luna Rossa’s second AC75 hull, with which the team will be on the water at the Prada Cup starting Dec. 17 and try to win the America’s Cup.
The skipper and managing team director of Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team tells us about the boat in detail, with his usual irony: “In winter they all become builders, sailors, that’s the great thing about Italians.” And again, “I would have preferred to do the Cup with boat 1, if all the teams had raced boat 1 as well.”
And, “It’s still a sailboat race!!! You can have the fastest boat but if you get the wrong edge, sail setting, you’re screwed.”
