Esaom Cesa, a shipyard and marina in Portoferraio (Elba Island), signs an important partnership agreement with the well-known Millenium sailmaker to establish a service point for its customers, located at a strategic point in the Tyrrhenian Sea, a crossroads of the most popular summer routes.
Esaom is one of the largest shipyards in the area, in size and lifting gear, with three docks and a well-stocked ship-chandler; it can handle vessels up to 40 m in length with a draft of up to 5 m. The agreement makes it possible to provide an important service for racing boats as well; in fact, Millenium is a specialized and well-known sailmaker that works on all kinds of sails, from those for simple cruising use to the most sophisticated designs for the most extreme competitions.
Millenium’s choice of Esaom is for the quality of the facility and dynamic management that puts customer care first. The climatic conditions of the location and the protected Portoferraio roadstead also lend themselves, year-round, to the organization of testing and consulting for sail tuning.
Services offered at the Portoferraio dealing point include winter sail washing and storage. At the site, under the supervision and coordination of Millenium personnel, assessments are made of the state of sail wear and possible solutions are worked out.
