Participating in the TAG Heuer VELA Cup Mariperman Trophy on Saturday, June 10 in Le Grazie (La Spezia, Italy) is quick and easy. Even if you have no competitive experience. All you need is a sailboat from seven meters and up. And if you don’t have a boat, we can find you one on which to race.
The spirit of this regatta/sailing is to spend a day of sailing together with many other boats. A celebration of sailing for all. And it is not a cliché.
Simply declare the boat’s overall length to be placed in one of the categories, defined by length. Then you simply choose whether you want to sail white sails (cruising class) and that is with mainsail and genoa, or you also want to use spi/gennaker (racing class). And then the first one to cross the finish line in each class wins.
