The first 21 candidates on the ranking list will be awarded a scholarship in the amount of €16,200.00 before taxes and/or deductions due by law and charges payable by the CNR. The next 9 selected candidates will be admitted as auditors.

The program has three (alternative) objectives and is aimed at training experts in the areas:

  • Structural lightening and new materials;
  • Development of design techniques for improving efficiency;
  • Development of new propulsion systems, emission control, and noise and vibration management.

The pathway includes training activities conducted by university professors, researchers and/or experts in the field (480+180 hours) and training internships at organizations and/or companies in the field (540 hours) for a total of 1200 hours in 13 months, starting in December 2020. The training activity will be held remotely, given the COVID-19 emergency.

The selection is aimed at candidates who at the time of the selections do not have/have had working relationships with the facilities involved in the project and who possess the specific qualifications required by the call for applications (ID: INM-001-2020-RM-Prot 0064218, Official Gazette no. 81 of 16/10/2020, deadline: 16/11/2020) .
