CLIPPER 68 FOR SALE
Following the change of boat used (now racing on twelve Clipper 70s designed by Tony Castro), the organization sells two Clipper 68s. This particular type of boat, designed by Ed Dubois, “entered service” in 2005 and were replaced in the 2013-14 edition of the regatta. They are truly outstanding ocean “school boats.”
YES, BUT HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
One has to put 250 thousand pounds (plus VAT) on the plate to have a Clipper 68 ready to use. “We offer a complete package including brand new sail games, spare parts, masts and we also consider selling with financing.”, said Jeremy Knight, the CEO of Clipper Ventures, the company organizing the world tour. “These boats are real … money-making machines. They are ideal as school boats for adventure seekers, for corporate team building sessions, and to prepare for sailing on large yachts.” An interesting business opportunity.
