Capo d’Orlando Marina
is now a reality: the first boats will dock as early as June, pending the ‘official opening scheduled for early July. A reality that finally makes it possible to moor among the beauty of Sicily, near Punta Bagnoli, a stone’s throw from the Aeolian Islands. In fact, thanks to its strategic location, Capo d’Orlando Marina promises boaters services and amenities worthy of a seaside resort.
SERVICES AND THE TERRITORY
Banishing cathedrals in the desert, the structures follow the principles of bio-architecture and energy conservation and blend into the surrounding landscape. The port basin will accommodate 553 berths reserved for boats from 7.50 to 40 m. length. Featuring a seabed from 3.5 m to 5 m, the marina covers an area of 183,000 sq. m. between indoor spaces and docks. The port infrastructure encloses the shipyard with repair and storage workshop with Travel Lift , fuel, stores along the quay: tobacco, newspapers and games, parapharmacy, jewelry, perfumery, coiffeur, bar, wine shop, sushi bar, local products, delicatessen, pastry shop, restaurant and pizzeria, ceramics, clothing and accessories, bazaar, ship chandler, supermarket, laundry, car and motorcycle rental. Plus: Yacht Club and a restaurant usable by boaters and members.
The Club House will also be equipped with SPA, guesthouse. Looking towards the Aeolian Islands, the views one can enjoy from the shores of Capo d’Orlando leave one breathless. The sea is the natural setting for this fishing village, bathing at least eight months of the year, from April to November with a true eden of underwater flora and fauna. Capo d’Orlando carries traces of history from Roman, Norman and late medieval times. Wonders such as the Bastion Castle, the Shrine shrouded in mystical legends. Three kilometers from the city, the Bagnoli Baths show off their wonderful mosaics. Capo d’Orlando Marina, which is part of the
