C-MAP has announced several improvements in the performance and functionality of its C-Map Max-N+ and C-Map 4D cartography, for the benefit of enthusiasts and all users of navigation systems of the most prestigious brands, such as Simrad, B&G and Lowrance, regarding Max-N+, Raymarine, Furuno, Humminbird and many others regarding 4D.
WATCHWORD: CLARITY
Among the many are an improvement in de-cluttering that gives a clearer and more immediately readable presentation of data, coloring of beacon sectors, lights, and mooring indications. Further refinements can be seen in the detail of POIs, the points of interest, and in the representation of currents, while a new font for bottom depth values and an improved color palette help identify different map information more clearly. The presentation has been optimized for increasingly high-performance navigation systems and easier access to vector data.
GOES WELL WITH EVERYONE
At the same time as the release of the new Navico 2.0 software, C-MAP announced the full compatibility of the Max-N+ cartography with the latest Simrad GO7 and B&G Vulcan. This further development makes all the latest content, features and functionality of C-Map Max-N+ accessible on compact and inexpensive 7-inch navigation systems, which are an ideal solution for most small and medium-sized power and sailboats.
OTHER IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS UPDATED
The release of the new mapping includes optimization of other important features, from dynamic Raster Charts, to an extensive library of satellite imagery, port plans and detailed information of related services, secured by access to the exclusive C- Marina database and also by the integration of Active Captain data, well-known crowd-sourced community, particularly active in North America, but also expanding rapidly in Europe. There are also numerous enhancements designed for fishermen; thanks to high-resolution bathymetric charts (HRB), it will be easier to identify the best fishing areas, the dynamic prediction of currents and tides (Dynamic Tide & Currents) supports the skipper in the pursuit of maximum safety and efficiency, and finally with multi-language mapping.
ON OFFER UNTIL THE END OF JUNE
In addition, C-MAP 4D cartography (in Max+ mode), C-MAP Max-N+ and Max-N is on offer at a special promotional price throughout Europe until the end of June. Thanks to continuous research and innovation and ever-increasing compatibility with the most prestigious navigation systems, C-MAP confirms its leading role in offering mapping solutions again for the 2016 season!
