It is not easy business to buy a used boat. First you have to juggle hundreds of online ads, tempting fate about the reliability of sellers, then you have to grind miles to see the boat. All this is avoided if you can board hundreds of used boats at a single fair, accompanied and assisted by many qualified brokers.
This explains the success of the 32nd edition of Nautilia (Oct. 19-21 and 25-27), the used boat show in Aprilia Marittima, in the town of Latisana (UD). Sales have not been long in coming, and already in the first few days contracts have been concluded, some of them even major ones. We recommend that you keep this event in mind next year if you are looking for a good used car.
WHO IS LOOKING FOR USED BOATS AND WHICH ONES?
Based on completed sales, one can speak of Italian, Austrian, and German users, but based on the license plates of the parked cars, one can estimate good interest from Eastern European countries as well, especially Slovenes and Croats.
The boats that attracted good public interest were outboard boats and sailboats up to 12 meters, but there was also no shortage of sales of some important “pieces”.
Nearly 300 used boats on display and about 40 Manufacturers’ brands present at this edition: Nautilia still sent a positive message to the market, helping to materialize many negotiations. For those who didn’t materialize right away, there is the upcoming “OPEN DOORS TO USED” event next spring. More precisely, during the weekends of March 2020, Aprilia Shipyards will be open to the public free of charge, and in the same spaces reserved for Nautilia, Exhibitors also free of charge will be able to reintroduce boats that have already been exhibited at the Fair and still remain unsold.
