New year, new boats, and where better to see them in January, previewing the 2020 season, than at Boot Düsseldorf, scheduled through January 26? Practically a guarantee, the German trade fair is one of the most important in the world, multi-sector, capillary organized and with a comprehensive look at the market. The Sailing Newspaper as it does every year is about to land in the German town with its editorial staff and will tell you everything that happens at Boot, and the stars of course will be the boats.
WHY FOLLOW THE BOOT
The German show is an event to watch because here we can find not only the most renowned shipyards but also more niche brands from the very fertile, from a nautical and shipbuilding point of view, Northern Europe. The Boot is then a truly international event, with no small area of the event devoted entirely to nautical tourism, featuring marinas and charter companies from around the world. And then there are the new things , the new boats. Many shipyards decide to present a world premiere in Dusseldor of newly launched boats or future projects, and like every year there will also be a lot of made in Italy. Of course we find sailboats of all kinds, from sport dinghies to boats over 60 feet, on display.
A LOOK AT THE 2020 EDITION
Lots of sailing again at this 2020 Boot, organized as always in a series of interconnecting pavilions, with the boats lying on the decks and often with their appendages prominently displayed, almost unique in the landscape of major international boat shows. There will be no shortage of world premieres as anticipated. Any names?
