Bjorn Larsson lands in Lerici in September

If you love the sea, don’t miss Sept. 6-8 “Lerici Reads the Sea,” a 100 percent seafaring festival. In the beautiful Ligurian town, in the Gulf of La Spezia, you can first of all meet the guest of honor of the event, writer Bjorn Larsson, the author who in his books talks about the sea, boats, sailing, who will be present on Friday 6 and Saturday 7.

In the village on Lerici’s main square and on the improvised stage of some famous historical boats, memories
of Latin sails, of the great battle of Meloria, will parade. For children Geronimo Stilton, for history buffs the memory of the 1914 Expo in Genoa.

Plus Optimist regattas, swimming in the Gulf, a Mass for Sea People.
There is no shortage of speeches on environmental initiatives on the marine ecosystem and solidarity with the mayor of Lampedusa on the issue of migrants at sea.
