A carbon cruiser that is light, fast and easy to sail, even with a small crew: the new Baltic 67 Performance Cruiser marks the Finnish shipyard’s return to more “contained” (quotation marks obligatory) dimensions
. This is a boat designed for long family sailing: with an ultralight hull made of Sprint and Corecell carbon epoxy laminates (21 tons is the total weight of the cruiser), featuring reduced loads on the mast, the boat will offer owners different interior layout and deck plan configurations. Naval architecture is by Judel Vrolijk Studio, while the interiors are by Design Unlimited.

The shipyard’s goal is to give birth to an alternative solution for those interested in long sailing and, at the same time, for those who are looking for a reliable boat for fast cruising in the Mediterranean. Easy handling and reliability will be ensured by, among other things, a full batten mainsail, which will be placed in a capacious “V” boom complete with lazy-jack, and a single sheet reefing system that can be operated from the cockpit. Aft, a garage will be able to hold an 8-foot tender, and there is an option for a telescoping lifting keel to reduce draft and enter all ports.

Below deck, four spacious cabins and a large light-filled saloon and above a deck saloon with panoramic views. With the maximum beam point shifted aft, the Baltic 67 will be able to have at the same time more space below deck and good stability at carrying gaits. Although the Baltic 67 will be the result of maximum customization, they will start with the same pre-engineered hull and systems for each model. The first boat will be started this year, and nearly a year of work will be needed to complete it.

Overall length 20.50 m
Length at waterline 19.00 m
Beam max 5.30 m
Draft 3.20 (fixed keel)
Displacement 21,000 kg
Ballast 8,600 kg
