The event dedicated to the X-Yachts world, scheduled for Sept. 16-20 in Chiavari, organized by X-Italia, importer of the Danish shipyard, is taking shape. A five-day event where all fans of these boats, emblems of the performance cruiser world, will be able to see and touch the objects of their desires, without the crowds of a boat show and with the shipyard’s experts at their disposal. Five days, by reservation (addresses at the bottom of this page), to be able to visit the 4 models available, 3 from the Pure X range, the X4³, X4⁶, X4⁹, and the Xp 44 spearheading the Performance range. It will also be possible to learn details of the latest developments at the site, the X5⁶ which will be unveiled at the Dusseldorf 2021 boat show and the first powerboat produced by X-Yachts, the X-power 33C.
An event that also marks a decisive paradigm and vision shift in X-Italia’s communication: in a very particular season like the one we are experiencing, Fabio Baffigi and Giulia Ravaioni’s idea was to propose something different to fans. Not just a boat show, but a real X-Yachts experience.
Customized on-board visits and especially sea trials will be the highlight of the five-day Chiavari program.
Of course, in compliance with anticovid regulations, visits will be by appointment only since this will not be a public event but reserved only for X-Yachts enthusiasts. “Compatible with the weather and the number of people we can keep in the boat, we will try to keep two boats in the water and two in the dock, two trips a day, the boats will be at sea no less than an hour or an hour and a half, which seems to us to be a minimum time to be able to begin to get the sensations that our boats can give” Fabio Baffigi told us. “The goal of this initiative,” he continued, “is to be able to give our customers a real onboard experience to touch the quality of these boats. This is a difficult concept to express, the quality of a boat, unless you come on board and see it for yourself. But it’s not enough to just come aboard, you have to feel how it sails under canvas and hold the wheel in your hand, in short, to understand an X-Yachts you need a total experience focused on the customer’s needs, and that’s what we’re organizing. For us it is an evolution of our daily work, also because we have never done the sea trials with the client, in this case we are changing and it will be a philosophy that will not end with this five-day event but wants to continue over time, even intensifying experiences similar to this one to be carried out directly in Denmark at the site of the shipyard” Baffigi points out.
