No, we have not gone crazy, and it all stemmed from a phone call between the editor of the Giornale della Vela, Luca Oriani, and the patron of Moby, Toremar and Tirrenia, Vincenzo Onorato, both great lovers of sailing.
Up to Olbia (departing from Livorno, Piombino, Genoa or Civitavecchia from August 16 to 21) Moby/Tirrenia ferry is 100% free for you, your crew (up to 7 people) and even your car! The same will be true for the return trip, August 25-30, with destinations Livorno, Piombino, Genoa and Civitavecchia.
FREE FERRY TO OLBIA: how to do it in 3 steps
- STEP 1: First go to the VELA Cup website(velacup.it) and click on the Caprera leg. Here complete the pre-registration with all your data and your email (write it well, it is important)
- STEP 2: Once step 1 is completed, you will receive an email on the address you provided. At this point click and complete the registration by paying the fee (depending on the length of the boat)
- STEP 3: After finalizing the payment, you will need to open the receipt where you will find the link to download the form to print, fill out, scan and send to ****************
