From the collaboration between Rossoragno (un new brand, created by passionate sailors and yacht designers to promote the use of next-generation construction technologies and advanced design methods in boat building) and the historic Garda shipyard Zuanelli comes RR28, a sailing yacht only 8.6 meters long with a luxurious interior and promising sailing performance.
Its lines mix edges with rounded surfaces, seeking an aesthetic balance capable of concealing interior volumes and heights typical of larger boats, while its maximum width of only 2.54 meters and low weight make it a trailerable vessel.
Open-plan interiors offer an average dinette height of 1.98 meters and a fully windowed deckhouse that allows a 360-degree view to the outside. Below deck, in addition to four beds, there is a separate toilet, a large table with folding doors, kitchen with double sink, cockpit refrigerator, and tilting stove.
As standard, it is equipped with a 13-horsepower Lombardini inboard diesel engine; as an option, one can choose for a more powerful 20-hp Lombardini, or for an Oceanvolt electric propulsion that can function as a hydrogenerator while sailing.
RR28 is a boat with elegant lines, aiming for performance, but also agile, both in handling on the water and ashore, so much so that moving RR 28 from port to port, lake to sea is an inexpensive and undemanding operation.
The possibility of having a pivoting keel he fully automatic handling, in addition to allowing access to harbors and shallow-water locations, facilitates hauling, launching, and transport; the lightweight carbon-fiber mast without backstay is maneuverable during arming and disarming and helps to significantly reduce roll and pitching while sailing and mooring.
Its water lines, appendages, sail plan, and rigging are designed to provide comfortable and relaxing family cruising, but also responsiveness and sensitivity to adjustments.
It is sandwich-built using infusion and vacuum bag technology to keep the weight down and, most importantly, to ensure high final quality.
Offered in a variety of fittings, it is prepared to be equipped with a complete system of facilities including anchor windlass, heating, electric toilet and automatic keel handling system, among others.
