“We are a team that has been in the industry for almost 30 years, having been born in 1993,” Maria Grazia Zuliani, founder of 43° Parallelo together with Dario Zana, tells us, “and during all this time we have always maintained the same philosophy: to propose a quality charter, with deep attention to the client and maniacal care of our boats. The same attention and commitment we have also put into our sales activity: in fact, we are Jeanneau Vela dealers for Tuscany, Sardinia and Liguria di Levante, as well as Excess Catamarans.
And it is precisely because of these strong partnerships with world-class brands that our fleet is constantly being updated so that we can offer our customers only new, reliable and comfortable boats. All the models in our fleet today therefore belong to Jeanneau’s Sun Odyssey line: for summer 2022 we have as many as 11 sailboats: not catamarans at the moment because we work a lot with the non-Italian market, which likes more monohulls.
However, this is a very high-quality fleet of which all models are small to medium-sized: one with 4 cabins and two with 5 cabins while most have 3 cabins. We have chosen to stay with a fleet that allows us to be at the top level of service and without surprises for the customer. It’s a complete range that’s perfect for charter: it ranges from the Sun Odyssey 349 to the 519, including the 380, which is the newest Jeanneau model that just arrived and in fact we’re among the first to have it.”

– Assistance is the first value
As always, 43° Parallel’s base is in the Marina di Scarlino, in the center of the Gulf of Follonica. All around are the unspoiled wonders of the Tuscan Maremma, including pine forests, hills rich in woods and olive groves, and unspoiled coastlines. But the Marina di Scarlino is also an ideal base for cruises to Elba Island and the Tuscan Archipelago, Corsica and Sardinia.
“Assistance,” adds Maria Grazia, “is the first value for us: we always give advice and also provide our suggested itineraries with nautical charts and all useful information, but above all we help those who do not have much experience. For example, we create a personalized chat with each customer through which we give technical and tourist support in real time.
But not only that: for the past 3 years we have been doing an online check in by sending a link to the customer who can then see the boat in advance, even with technical videos, and arrives at the marina with everything already clear to accomplish the actual boarding-it is a much-loved feature. Finally, for summer 2022 we are proposing very competitive rates: on 410 for example, we start from 2,550 euros in the very low season up to 4,250 in the very high season. The booking has started very well and early, and we already have very good feedback.”
