HOW IS IT GOING?
As was to be expected, in the first days of voting, it was the young people, given their “social” attitude, who racked up the preferences: currently leading the ranking is the duo consisting of. Edoardo Ferraro and Francesco Orlando, 420 class specialists who won the Under-17 World Championship in 2015 in Castle Bay Karatsu, Japan. In second place was Ambrogio Beccaria Balduzzi, the minist who went to retrieve a 650 in Portugal, repaired it with his own hands and became the 2015 Italian class champion. In third place was Federica Cattarozzi: the woman from Trentino in 2015 won the European Under 16 and Under 18 Laser 4.7 Championships, and not content she also went on to win silver at the Under 16 World Championship. Provisional fourth place for Matteo Pilati and Francesco Rubagotti, winners of the 2015 Redbull Foiling Generation Italia in Malcesine, Verona. He is followed in fifth place by a “regular,” 2015 Sailor of the Year Roberto Tomasini Grinover.
TOO EARLY TO MAKE PREDICTIONS
Early, very early to make predictions. As a reminder, you can vote for the 100 until February 16(HERE THE RULES): the 50 candidates with the most votes will pass the first stage (starting from the next stage, they will start from scratch: the votes collected in the various stages are not cumulative). And not only that. You have until February 4 to propose the names you think are missing from the list. These will be entered into a parallel poll, and the two with the most votes will move right on to the second phase. By the way, the e-mail speciali@panamaeditore.it is literally clogged with reports, it will be quite a challenge.
