THE SKILL OF OUR TECHNICIANS
Thus Anna Bacchiega, winner of two 470 World Championships and an Olympian at the 1988 Seoul Games, current Federal Councilor with responsibility for Under 16, 19 and 21 Youth Activities: “Kudos go to the coaches of the clubs and the 420 class, technicians who in doubles here in Italy are of the highest level and every year churn out boys and girls who win titles: always staying at the top seems easy but it is not at all“. “It’s good to see that we have won another 420 World title, where Italy has historically always had excellent results, and I want to congratulate the girls and their coaches,” added champion Alessandra Sensini, four Olympic medals in her career and a present as Technical Director of Federvela’s youth activities. “It means that technically the Italian coaches are really on the ball and growing our young people well. Now Carlotta Omari and Francesca Russo Cirillo will be able to move on to an Olympic class with the enthusiasm and determination they have shown over the years, as their journey in the youth classes has come to an end.”
