The Viareggio shipyard is confirmed to be in good shape. After the success at the 151-mile race of the “family bolide,” Roberto Lacorte‘s SuperNikka, announces that between May and October 2015 there will be several boats touching the water; let’s take a closer look at the main novelties:
1. The Vismara V62_02 Mills: is the cruising evolution of the SuperNikka. A project developed four hands with Mark Mills and in which the owner is also actively participating.
2. Vismara V56 Mills: this is the super blue water cruiser project developed with Mark Mills and Lucio Micheletti, who will do the interiors. A project based on the application to the boating world of the American concept of Open Innovation, or the ability to get the best experts around the same table who can make a specific contribution to the project.
3.Vismara V50 Mills: a custom design developed once again with Mark Mills.
4. Vismara V50 Dragon. It is the custom project from which the pret-a-porter 50, which will be presented at the upcoming Cannes show, was developed. Two engines, many different layouts on which the owner can indulge, clean lines and easy sailing, and an industrial investment to be able to support it and present it to the new foreign markets to which the Viareggio shipyard is looking with interest: in essence, an engineered base with all the Vismara solutions developed and tested in more than 30 years of one-off projects, ready for the market.
At the same time the great work of the refitting area does not stop, which for winter 2015-2016 will be busy with a Baltic 80 after working with SWS last season.
