Check out this video, in which the crew of Great Britain (a participating boat in the Clipper Round The World Yacht Race, the 40,000-plus mile round-the-world stage race) faces it during a leg between Australia and Singapore. Crew member Paul Hardy recounts these few seconds that seemed to last an eternity: no one expected a tornado, some team members fell into the water, but fortunately they had safety lines.
