If you travel the world by trade to photograph the circuits of major regattas, you must have seen plenty of beautiful places to sail. So we asked, with a hint of envy, Mauro Melandri and his wife, Janna, to tell us in pictures what, for them, are those bodies of water where you have to sail at least once in your life. There was no shortage of surprises because, while you can find some of the great sailing classics in this Top Ten, such as the San Francisco Bay, the cold Kiel or the sunny Antigua, you will then find yourself sailing with the Peler on Lake Garda or along the Romagna coast of Cervia.
