WINNERS’ STATEMENTS
Marco Serafini (owner of Hurakan)
“Initially, participation in the Championship was not on the agenda, but we certainly couldn’t miss it, so we took to the water, albeit with an incomplete crew, and gave it our all: we come home with an Italian title, which obviously gives us great pleasure, so it’s hard to ask for better. Overall, I think Civitanova and its club showed that they can do things really well, credit to Cristiana Mazzaferro and all the staff.”
Sergio Valente (owner of Duvetica Grey Goose)
“I am very happy, because it is true that we were aiming for the class title, but as far as the overall standings are concerned we had no great aspirations, so this is an unexpected success. Ours is a victory of the group, and in particular I would like to thank Daniele Augusti, Alessandro Alberti and Ciro Di Piazza, who were instrumental in achieving the result, thanks to their hard work in fine-tuning the new boat.”
Nicola De Gemmis (owner of Morgan IV)
“I was hoping for this title, we are very happy to have won it, also because the weather conditions we encountered these days are certainly not ideal for our boat, but we still managed to defend ourselves well. It was a good championship, very well organized.”
Alessio Querin (owner of Mummy One)
“After the Italian Minialtura title, we won the overall one, so I can only be very satisfied with our performance: we are a very young crew, we have the desire to sail and do well, and in these four days of racing we were practically perfect, in the starts as well as in the maneuvers and tactics. My compliments are for the whole crew.”
Fabio Emiliani (owner of Extrema)
“What can I say? As you can see we are happy and satisfied, we sailed well and in the end this important result also came, which of course can only please us. We are a good group, we have fun, we take to the water with the right spirit and this is the most important thing. Then if the results also come like on this occasion, all the better.”
