An edition particularly rich in excitement and twists and turns of La Cinquecento Trofeo Phoenix, organized by the Circolo Nautico Santa Margherita in Caorle, has come to an end.

IN FORTY AT THE START FOR THE UPPER ADRIATIC CLASSIC
Setting out on Sunday, May 31, in total becalmed conditions, the forty participants chased for all five hundred miles of the course a wind that eventually arrived, in the form of thermals and mistral, which after the passage of Sansego helped the fleet in the descent to the Tremiti and then in the ascent back to Sansego and the coveted finish line of Porto Santa Margherita. The regatta ended on Saturday, June 6, a day later than the averages of recent years, but that is not to say it was a slow edition: constant changes of scene at the top of the rankings, chases, exciting match-races, competition, competitiveness and great seamanship.
