With one week to go before the official start of the TAG Heuer VELAFestival, which will be held April 10-13 at the Genoa Fair Marina, we decided to give the numbers… of the 2014 edition. At least until now: here are what they are.
278 = brands and boats
165 = total number of boats present on land and at sea
7 = hours of video in the broadcast schedule in the event area
24 = cult boats
48 = photo exhibition panels
60 = meters linear length of the photo exhibition
30 = great sailors invited
6 = TAG Heuer Sailors of the Year
109 = the years of the oldest boat present, Lona II
1851 = year of the first regatta of the schooner America
2.70 = meters in length of the smallest boat, the Aquaglide
61 = meters in length of the largest boat, Nave Italia
29 = the number of events on land and at sea
111 = the guaranteed opening hours of food courts (from breakfast to after dinner)
2 = the DJs who will make the guests of the VELAFestival Night dance.
12 = the miles of the TAG Heuer CUP course.
700,000 = the miles traveled at sea by the Malingri family
