What a success our TAG Heuer VELAFestival initiative was at the Barcolana! We had started with the idea of creating two crews, one aboard theItalia 13.98 and one on the Dufour 445 GL. Well, there were so many of you who asked to participate that the boats became four (we are also preparing a Bavaria 50 and a 44 in the water) before proudly declaring a SOLD OUT! What awaits the 36 participants(and their four outstanding skippers) on this magical weekend in Trieste, Italy’s largest sailing event? Read below….
THE PROGRAM
Friday, October 10: evening crew reception based on arrivals
Saturday, October 11,
8:30 a.m. Opening hospitality
9 a.m. Skipper/crew briefing
10/10.30 a.m. Sea outing
3:30 p.m. Return to port
5 p.m. Meeting at the hospitality with all participants
5:30 p.m. TAG Heuer Velafestival Contest
7 p.m. Awards ceremony – cocktail
Sunday, October 12
8 a.m. Breakfast at the lounge
8:30/9 a.m. Ready to go
10 am Start 46th Barcolana
Return to the lounge
