Slalom Kitesurfing, Mario Calbucci is the new Italian champion

A single but intense day of competition (run in the waters in front of Marina di Ragusa) was enough for Mario Calbucci to take home the title of National Slalom Kitesurfing Champion: second place went to Gianluca Merla, ahead of Mattia Galeazzi.
THE GREAT ABSENTEE? EOLO
The Championship, organized by the Sirocco Sailing Club, was characterized by light winds. Too light to allow “kites” to compete in the water on two out of three days. On Friday’s first day alone, four trials could be completed , with sirocco-levante conditions with gusts of 15 knots.
